Jr. Miss Rodeo Plainville 2009 - Taylor Todd

Jr. Miss Rodeo Plainville, Taylor Todd of Rexford, has been cowgirling up since she was 4-months-old and first rode on her father’s horse. As a 12-year-old, Taylor is nearly a pageant veteran holding four titles since her debut at the age of eight. She loves rodeo, getting to know people and the challenge of competition. Taylor finds pageants to be a blast and invites other young ladies to run for the crown. One day Taylor hopes to become the first lady of her favorite sport, Miss Rodeo America.

When not rodeoing with her family, Taylor plays the violin and is an active member of 4-H and the Kansas Paint Horse Show Association. In 2008, Taylor qualified and competed in the youth reining classes at the World Wide Paint Horse Congress. She enjoys everything about horses and aspires to become a horse trainer and rancher. Taylor advises young riders to never take their emotions out on their horses and you’ll always go far together.

Taylor is the daughter of Jay and Brandy Todd. She has one sister, Tylor, and a new baby brother, Tannor. Taylor’s run for the title of Jr. Miss Rodeo Plainville was made possible by her sponsors: North Fork Horse Camp; People State Bank of Colby, Hoxie, Oakley, Goodland, McDonald and Garden City; Todd Land & Cattle and Tylor Todd.

Miss Rodeo Plainville is crowned every year during the CPRA rodeo held the first weekend of June.

The pageant is open to young women age 10-23 years who are a Kansas resident.

We encourage you to strive for success in everything you do and to let the Miss Rodeo Plainville Pageant be a part of your success.
